Background

Sensitization Programmes, Arts and Creative Education for Students (SPACES) started in August 2025 with one genuine desire: to unlock the creative potential of young students from socioeconomically marginalised communities. We believe every young student should have a healthy, safe space where they can express and explore their unique voice. 

One step at a time, we aim to work through systemic barriers that limit access to quality arts education for young students, including students with disabilities whose learning processes are constantly overlooked. And how do we approach this? 

SPACES focuses on improving access to existing means of creative expression – through tangible resources (such as materials, supplies, and accessible equipment) and well-curated knowledge (through mentoring and specialized instruction). At its heart, our initiative is about creating pathways for self-discovery, building confidence, and transforming (infinite) potential into building a community of incredible young artists.
